Alumina Spinel Castables are high-performance refractory castables engineered using high-purity alumina aggregates, reactive alumina, magnesia, and advanced low-cement bonding systems. During high-temperature operation, magnesia reacts with alumina to form magnesium aluminate spinel, creating a dense and durable refractory structure with exceptional resistance to basic slags, thermal shock, and structural spalling.

These castables are extensively used in steelmaking applications where severe thermal cycling, slag attack, and mechanical stresses are encountered.
