Basic Ramming Mass

Basic Ramming Mass is a high-performance unshaped refractory material manufactured primarily from high-purity magnesia and specially selected refractory additives. It is designed for induction furnaces and metallurgical applications where exposure to highly basic slags, aggressive refining conditions, and elevated operating temperatures can rapidly deteriorate conventional refractory linings. The material develops a strong and durable lining capable of withstanding severe chemical and thermal stresses.

In steelmaking operations involving high lime additions, basic slags, and manganese-rich melts, refractory linings require exceptional resistance to chemical attack and slag penetration.
