Exothermic Sleeves are highly reactive feeder components utilized in foundries to prevent shrinkage cavities in the final casting by providing a steady supply of liquid metal.

Upon contact with molten metal, these sleeves ignite, initiating a highly exothermic reaction that generates intense heat. This heat, combined with the sleeve's excellent insulating properties, keeps the metal in the riser liquid for a significantly extended period. This allows for smaller riser designs, drastically improving the overall casting yield and reducing fettling costs.
