Incinerator Refractories line the combustion chambers of municipal solid waste (MSW) incinerators and hazardous waste-to-energy plants.

These environments are incredibly harsh, featuring continuous thermal shock, severe physical abrasion from tumbling waste, and attack from acidic gases (HCl, SO2) and volatile alkali metals. We provide advanced Silicon Carbide (SiC) tiles and specialized high-alumina castables that form a hard, impenetrable barrier. They protect the boiler tubes, maximize heat transfer, and drastically extend the operational life of the incinerator.
