STEELMAKING REFRACTORIES (LRF, EAF & LADLE APPLICATIONS)

Burner Blocks

Burner Blocks for Steelmaking and Ladle Applications
Product Overview

Burner Blocks

Burner Blocks are critical pre-cast refractory shapes designed to house, protect, and optimize the flame geometry of oxy-fuel burners injected into Electric Arc Furnaces, ladles, and various reheating furnaces. They must operate continuously at extremely high temperatures.

Manufactured from premium corundum, mullite, or alumina-chrome castables, our Burner Blocks are highly resistant to thermal shock, flame erosion, and slag attack. They maintain their precise internal geometry over long campaigns, ensuring optimal combustion efficiency and protecting the delicate burner nozzles from the harsh furnace environment.

  • Protects burner nozzles from slag splash and mechanical damage
  • Maintains precise flame geometry for optimal combustion efficiency
  • Exceptional thermal shock and flame erosion resistance
  • Custom-designed to fit specific burner profiles and furnace walls
