Delta Castables

Delta Castables are specialized monolithic refractory mixes designed for steel plants that prefer to cast their own EAF roof delta sections on-site. These formulations are engineered to withstand the extreme thermal, chemical, and mechanical stresses present at the center of the arc furnace roof.

Based on high-purity corundum, mullite, and spinel with advanced ultra-low cement binder systems, our Delta Castables exhibit exceptional volume stability, high hot-strength, and outstanding spalling resistance. When properly cast and cured, they provide a dense, robust delta structure that maximizes furnace availability.
